panels, then fully integrate them into a system that’s also manufactured at our facility.
This ensures a single point of responsibility, quality control, and seamless integration,
all while adhering to customer delivery schedules.
AZZ | CENTRAL ELECTRIC Protective Relay Panels
Central Electric has been building relay panels for over 30 years as part of our
PowerAisle switchgear designs. With the recent relocation of AZZ’s relay panel
operation to Central Electric from our Carter & Crawley facility in South Carolina, we
have created an independent, focused product line to continue supporting our customers
with open relay panels and control enclosures.
Relay Panel design, fabrication, construction and testing are all done completely at the
Central Electric facility. Capabilities include:
• Vertical Switchboards – open on top, bottom, sides. These are the most
___economical designs, and free up the most floor space. They can be designed
___as panel front, rack front, or in a panel and rack front combination.
• Dual Switchboards – enclosed at the sides and top, these designs include
___front and rear panels (with one side hinged for access) that allow for rear
___mounting of some equipment.
• Duplex Switchboards – take the Dual Switchboard design and add an aisle
___in_between the rows of panels on the front and rear. Access is provided at the
___ends, either open, or through doors.
